Coach Brandon Villarreal is a graduate of Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) in Laredo, Texas where he graduated with a Bachelor Degree of Science in Kinesiology and a Minor in Dance. While at TAMIU, Mr. Villarreal was a member of the TAMIU Dance Program, Alma Gitana Flamenco Dance Company, and the Nationally Ranked Texas A&M International University Cheer program.
Coach Villarreal started his cheerleading experience in 2004 and immediately after high school became a member of the Texas A&M International University Cheer Program and was named captain in 2012. He later became the Assistant Coach of the Cheer Program where they ranked 1st in the Nation at the 2014 National Cheerleading Association (NCA) College Nationals in Daytona, Florida. Coach Villarreal has taken the James Pace Early College HS Cheerleaders to higher levels. In just his first year as head coach the James Pace Cheerleaders brought back the 2016 National Jackets and Banner as they ranked 1st in the Advanced Non-Tumbling Division at Cheer Power Grand Nationals held at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. Coach Villarreal is motivated to keep the Pace Cheer program growing in numbers and in skills. Each year the talent keeps improving and opens a lot more opportunities for the Viking Cheerleaders. |
